Chaplains

Originally a member of the clergy in charge of a chapel, today chaplain refers to clergy who perform specialised duties outside the parish context. This could be to a bishop, a college, an embassy, the Forces, a hospital, a prison, a place of work or a school or university.

Chaplaincy times is produced by the Chaplains of Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust and is relevant to Ministers, Church Wardens, Readers and church attendees.  They will find within its pages some helpful and interesting information about the Trusts’ chaplaincy service.
